DC101 Leading Culture
Description: In this module you will gain a better understanding in the basics of establishing a strong Corporate Culture. You will be able to focus organizational effort and enhance group performance. This module provides four elements of corporate culture and illustrates methods to integrate them into the organization.
You will learn:
101.1. To understand what makes up an organization’s culture.
101.1.1. Define Corporate Culture.
101.1.2. Define Communal Culture.
101.1.3. To identify the 8 symptoms of group think.
101.1.4. Define subculture.
101.1.5. Given an example of a facilities culture, identify what cultural state the facility is in.
101.2. To understand the basic concepts supporting corporate culture.
101.2.1. Be able to explain the leader’s role in corporate culture.
101.2.2 Be able to identify the four elements that make up a corporate culture.
101.3. To understand basic concepts of an organization’s leadership state.
101.3.1. Be able to identify the four concepts defining character.
101.3.2. Be able to identify the six behaviors all successful leaders exhibit.
101.3.3. Be able to identify the 5 steps in nurturing a troubled employee.
101.4. To understand the concepts guiding how to write a mission statement.
101.5. To understand the concepts guiding how to write a vision statement.
